With each summer comes story after story of animals being left in hot vehicles, many will succumb to the heat. We do not want to see any more animals perish or owners and handlers left to grieve.  Cracking a window is NOT enough, as dogs sweat through areas like the bottoms of their paws and their noses. They sweat much differently than humans and cannot cool down faster than the heat rises in the vehicle. In as little as 10 minutes inside a closed up vehicle (with outside temperatures between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit), can leave animals with brain damage, heat stroke, or worse.  We ask that you leave pets at home, as you never know how long you may be away from your vehicle.  We ask for your help to keep K9’s/Canine’s ALIVE by …
